Tesla released the following investment figures to its Northern Nevada Gigafactory 1 through the first quarter of 2015:
- 12 employees hired with an average salary paid of $26,000 each during the quarter
- Construction workers increased to 744 in the first quarter with 76 percent from Nevada
- Tesla’s total investment through 1Q 2015 on Gigafactory 1: $143.2 million
